I am a senior in college at North Carolina State University about to graduate in May. My major is in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Fashion Development and Product Management. I enjoy doing anytype of crafting in my spare time. |
Two summer’s ago my boyfriends mom, Kim, wanted me to make a something using my boyfriend, Justin’s, old band t-shirts from high school. She wanted to keep them since Justin was so involved in band throughout high school. So I made a t-shirt quilt for her. It turned out really good, was easy to make, and fun. Since I am mostly done with my senior studio pieces, we had our final critique today, I started thinking about my next project.
I went for an interview for an internship and it was recommended to me that I look into the modern quilt guild. So this summer with all the scraps of cotton that I have from all the sewing projects I have worked on I am going to make a quilt out of the scraps. I bought two quilting books from amazon and can’t wait for them to get here.
